Welcome to Birthday Reminder.

These Terms govern your use of the App.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to use Birthday Reminder for personal and lawful purposes.

Ownership of the App remains with the developer.

2. Intended Use

Birthday Reminder is designed to help users manage birthdays, anniversaries, reminders, and important personal events.

You are responsible for the information you choose to store.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Respect the privacy of people whose information you store
  • Obtain permission where required before storing another person's information

You agree not to:

You retain ownership of all birthday information, notes, reminders, and contact information stored within the App.

We do not claim ownership of your data.

6. Notifications

Reminder notifications are generated locally on your device.

Notification delivery depends on your device settings and Apple's notification services.

We cannot guarantee delivery of every notification.

7. Contacts and Calendar

If you choose to use Contacts or Calendar integration, you are responsible for granting and managing the necessary permissions through iOS Settings.

8. Software Updates

We may release updates including:

  • Performance improvements
  • Bug fixes
  • New reminder features
  • Security enhancements

Some updates may be required for continued use.

9. Advertising

If advertisements are displayed, they are provided by third-party advertising partners.

We are not responsible for products or services advertised by third parties.

10. In-App Purchases

  • Payments are processed through Apple.
  • Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID.
  • Refund requests are governed by Apple's refund policies.

Birthday Reminder is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

We do not guarantee:

  • Every reminder will be delivered
  • Continuous availability
  • Compatibility with every device

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Missed reminders
  • Lost birthday information
  • Lost calendar events
  • Device issues
  • Business interruption
  • Lost profits
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Use of the App is entirely at your own risk.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from claims arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of applicable laws
  • Infringement of third-party rights

14. Third-Party Services

Birthday Reminder may use services provided by:

  • Apple
  • Google AdMob
  • Firebase Analytics
  • Firebase Crashlytics

Use of these services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated or if required by law.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
